The White Sox honored Jim Thome’s induction into the Hall of Fame with a bobblehead night and ceremony on August 11, 2018. My ticket rep comped the tickets which included dinner and drinks in the Centerfield Fan Deck.
It was a great ceremony which brought tears to the eyes of many long time White Sox fans.
Baseball season is here again and I attended 3 games this April. White Sox opening day on April 5, a Cubs game on April 12 and White Dog Day on April 23, 2018. Here are some photos from the games.
I had a great time at the White Sox opening day today despite the cold temperatures. The White Sox won 1-0 behind the pitching of Chris Sale. Thanks to Pete Sanchez and his group for organizing the annual event which also cons
ists of tailgating in the parking lot before and after the game.
I had a great time with Pete and his group for his annual opening day outing complete with tail gating in the White Sox parking lot! The White Sox won what was a close game behind the pitching of Jake Peavey!
Great win by the Chicago Bears today to run their record to 8 wins and 3 losses. They are in first place as the Packers lost. Also remember they were the underdogs in this game.
The Blackhawks broke their 49 year drought by bringing the Stanley Cup to Chicago for the first time since 1961 by beating the Philadelphia Flyers in overtime to win the series 4 games to 2.
The parade and celebration will be in Chicago on Friday morning June 12, 2010.
Congratulations Blackhawks!
